I was decorating our family room this weekend and as I was decorating the mantel, I realized that something was missing. I really wanted one of those vintage looking photos of a jolly Santa that you see in all of the holiday magazines. So instead of buying more holiday decor and framed art, I decided I could make my own for $12. Because I’m all about budget decor. I’m sharing my free printable vintage Santa Claus art below.

Framing the art

I thought this gold frame would look so beautiful and luxe but you could use any 8×10 frame. The printable is an 8.5×11 picture so I did have to trim the edges.

Finds to ring in the New Year at home

If you are staying in for New Year’s, here are some fun ideas and things to ring in 2025 at home.

I think I can speak for all introverted extroverts when I say staying in is the new going out am I right? There’s no crowds, I can be in bed when I want to and I don’t have to wear a bra. I enjoy just kicking back on New Years Eve with Rick and the kids, ordering Chinese takeout and getting my ideas ready for my vision board. (If you’ve never made a vision board, I’m showing you how to here. I’ve been doing it for years and swear by it.)

But even if your New Year’s Eve is looking very living roomish, it can still be fun. Below I’m sharing some of my favorite things to make it special. Click here to see them all.

Finds to ring the New Year at home

1.) Pajamas – these silk pajamas with feathers are comfy but they feel bougie and elegant for ringing in the New Year at home.

2.) Headbands – these rhinestone headbands are the perfect embellishment.

3.) Festive earrings – I love these champagne bottle earrings. They’re also a great gift for the champs lover.

5.) Champagne flutes – How fun are these confetti glasses for your champagne toast?

6.) Slippers – the most adorable slippers to keep your tootsies warm and I love the bling. The sequins makes them perfect for New Years and to go with your bougie pajamas.

Sheet pan gnocchi with sausage and butternut squash

If you’re looking for an easy comforting weeknight meal, this sheet pan gnocchi is where it’s at. Crispy pillowy gnocchi with sausage, butternut squash and spinach topped with shredded gruyere cheese and the best part, it’s ready in 30 minutes! Scroll down for my easy sheet pan gnocchi recipe. Sheet Pan Gnocchi with Sausage and Butternut Squash

Ingredients:

1 bag of gnocchi (I used Trader Joe’s cauliflower gnocchi but you can use any kind)
1 package of sweet italian chicken sausage, cut into chunks.
1 butternut squash, cubed
1/2 red onion diced
1 cup of brussel sprouts, shaved or sliced thin
olive oil
garlic
salt/pepper
sage leaves, roughly chopped
1 bag fresh baby spinach
gruyere cheese

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

On a large baking sheet, spread out the gnocchi, sausage, butternut squash, onion and brussel sprouts. Drizzle with olive oil, chopped garlic, salt and pepper and toss. Sprinkle with fresh sage.

Bake in the oven for about 20-25 minutes, flipping occasionally so it can roast evenly.

Remove from the oven after 20-25 minutes and add the fresh baby spinach to the sheet pan. Sprinkle with shredded gruyere cheese.

Place back in the oven and broil for 5-10 minutes until the spinach is wilted and everything is golden brown.

Remove from the oven and serve. Top with additional shredded cheese.

Ingredients

1 bag gnocchi
1 butternut squash chopped
