Ok are you ready for another easy holiday DIY? Well I told you my theme this year was winter wonderland and I have been on a kick making snowglobes. (Check out these super cute snowglobe ornaments I made for the tree).
This DIY snowglobe tray is a pretty way to serve your holiday cookies or treats. Scroll down to see how I made it and re-create it for yourself!
DIY snowglobe tray
You will need: (linking everything towards the end of this post)
- glass or plastic jar with a lid.
- a large plate or charger
- hot glue
- faux snow
- bottle brush tree
- bell
- rub n buff
Directions:
1.) Start by heating up your hot glue gun.
2.) Unscrew the lid to your jar. Add a dab of hot glue to the bottom of the bottle brush tree and place inside in the center of the jar.
3.) Allow to dry for a few minutes and then fill the jar with faux snow.
4.) Place in any other decorative items you want to use. I did some bells and a pinecone.
5.) I was using a gold charger as the tray and wanted it to match the lid to the jar. I squeezed a little rub n buff on the lid and rubbed it in using a paper towel then let dry.
6.) Screw the lid back on your jar.
7.) Again using your hot glue gun, draw a circle of glue on top of the lid then place the charger on top.
8.) Allow to dry then serve your treats.
Voila!!!
