Christmas movie night tradition
There’s just something so cozy about getting in your Christmas pajamas and all snuggling on the couch for a good Christmas movie night with some snacks and hot chocolate. Whether you’re watching as a family or maybe getting some friends together, this is a fun way to celebrate the season and be cozy together.
Some of our family’s favorite Christmas movies are:
- Elf
- The Grinch (be sure to make these Grinch milkshakes)
- Home Alone
- National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation
- The Polar Express
- Jingle All The Way
- Christmas With The Kranks
- The Holiday
- Charlie Brown Christmas
- A Christmas Story
- The Santa Claus
Free printable Christmas movie tickets
This year I decided to make some little movie tickets to up the ante on our Christmas movie night. They definitely make it more fun and bring that holiday magic. Whether you want to leave them as a gift from your Elf (if the Elf People come to your house) or maybe just treat the kids at the end of the week.

These free Christmas movie night tickets are available for download in the free printable library.

Christmas movie night basket
I put together a basket with supplies for our movie night like comfy blankets, of course popcorn, candy and some beverages. This would be a cute idea to gift to a family friend or just leave out and enjoy all season long and watch Christmas movies to your heart’s content.
To make this basket you will need:
- a basket
- a blanket
- popcorn
- M&Ms
- popcorn containers or bowls
- soda
- festive cups
