How to Celebrate Earth Day

Nesting on this gorgeous Sunday in April

This week was beautiful! The warmer weather is finally here in Upstate New York!

We’re working this weekend on cleaning up the yard and gardens so we can get ready to sow our seeds and plant some new landscaping. Last summer I admittedly got a little overzealous and bit off more than I could chew if you know what I mean. So this year I’m keeping it simple with the gardens this summer and am focusing on plants that are more low maintenance.

We’ve also still got our bathroom reno going on. This is my inspiration. Rick’s certainly got his work cut out for him around the house lately 😉

This past week, the girls from the Cozy Creative Collaborative and I got together to share some ideas for Mother’s Day. I shared this pretty and delicious strawberry lemonade Momosa.

Go on over and check out the post because there’s some other beautiful ideas for Mother’s Day as well!

Do your kids or grandkids love bubbles? Try my homemade DIY bubble solution and make a little bubble station! This has been one of my mom hacks for the past few years. I recommend using a pitcher with a spout so the kids can easily pour some into a smaller bowl or container.

Earth Day is Saturday 4/22. These Earth Day seed bombs are a fun craft to spark some discussions about Earth Day and it’s fun to see what grows!

And in case you missed it, a few weeks ago I shared my spring wardrobe capsule. I’ll link it here again because there’s some great spring staples!

Now here are my favorite things I found on the web this week:

I have never heard of May Day before until recently. These May Day baskets from An Organized Season are a sweet gesture for your neighbors.

Hi Nicolle! So glad it’s warming up and you’ve been able to get outside! I love the inspiration pictures for the bathroom! Can’t wait to see what you do! I would love to add a shiplap wall behind the sinks in my son’s bathroom someday! Thanks for sharing my May Day baskets and have a great week!

Ahh! I got carried away in my garden last year and it ended in me having too many plants and not enough space. This year I am keeping it simple too.
A few years ago my girls will have gone wild for your bubble station. What a great idea.
