Spring is finally here! In Upstate New York, you never know what the weather will be. The mornings can start off damp and cold and by the afternoon it can be sunny and 70 so layering is key. This spring wardrobe capsule has some great transitional essentials and timeless classics that you can wear year after year. What is a wardrobe capsule?
A capsule wardrobe is a collection of clothing items that can work together to create multiple different outfits. For this capsule I chose a lot of neutral, classic pieces that never go out of style so you can get the most use out of them. Think basic tees for layering, button down tops, classic jeans, linen blend dresses, etc. This is just to get you started and certainly you can add your own personal style to it.

March 18, 2025 at 10:41 amThat checklist is really useful thank you. I often struggle with what to wear during the spring, we get some nice weather here in the UK but it change suddenly and go back to being cold and very wet so it’s good to have a selection that’s suitable.
