Coastal Grandmother Style is the new trend for this summer and I am here for it. Think Diane Keaton on “Something’s Gotta Give” or Meryl Streep in “It’s Complicated”- breezy whites and linens, perusing the farmer’s market then coming home and cooking dinner with your local produce in your open kitchen while enjoying a glass of wine. I have been in love with the Coastal Grandmother aesthetic since I was little and saw Father of the Bride. I dreamt of living in that house and having a kitchen with my pots and pans hanging from the kitchen ceiling. Which is why whenever I’m cooking I listen to Nancy Meyers Kitchen on spotify.
Coastal grandmother is a feeling of carefree relaxation and being effortlessly put together. It’s being the ultimate hostess, having a bowl of lemons on your kitchen counter, making a delicious meal and having vases of fresh hydrangeas from your garden.

Coastal Grandmother Chic this summer.
Hat – for the beach, in the garden, or strolling the farmer’s market.
Button down tunic – in white of course.
Linen blend pants – effortless and comfortable.
LL bean bag – I’ve had mine for years and it’s great quality!
Sweater – for layering and in a preppy nautical stripe or solid.
Classic flats – when you’re not barefoot strolling the beach.
Recently I also found these dresses at Target. They’re all so comfortable. But #3 seems to be the favorite amongst you all! Linking them below.

June 16, 2022 at 6:40 amFun post, Nicolle! I have also really liked this style since I was very young. It’s that easy breezy comfortable vibe that I enjoy. I really like your 3 dresses! I just got a very similar one to your long striped dress from Old Navy. I will have to wear it and post it soon! Thanks so much for joining the Stylish Monday Link Party!
