Nesting on this last weekend before Christmas.
We are officially 1 week away!!! How are you doing with your holiday have-to’s?
I had taken the day off on Friday to get some last minute shopping and wrapping done but the boys had a snow day. So we watched movies, made this snow ice cream and had a hot cocoa bar instead.
So looks like I’ll be wrapping this week while the boy’s are in school 🙂
This weekend we made our annual homemade Irish cream and planned our Christmas menu. We make homemade Irish cream every year to sip on Christmas day and it also makes great gifts! Click here if you’d like the recipe.
I picked up this adorable sled at a local farm store last weekend. Isn’t it so cute? At first I had it by the fireplace but I think I like it better out front. What do you think?
Here’s what I shared this week on the blog:
- The best stocking stuffers for all ages.
- This easy and delicious winter salad.
- These peppermint espresso martinis are THE cocktail to have in your hand all day Christmas day!
And a special announcement-
If you are local, make sure you tune in to News Channel 10 this Tuesday for their morning show! I’m going to be on with Stephanie Rivas sharing a few easy DIY’s for the holidays!
There won’t be any Nesting for the next 2 weeks because of the holidays. But I will still be sharing more easy Christmas recipes, a teacher gift idea and ideas for New Years. So be sure to check your inboxes!

Now for a few of my favorite things I found on the web this week:
My friend Amy from Amy Sadler Designs shared this gorgeous clay bowl that she made. It would be beautiful to gift to someone for their jewelry.
Do you like white russians? How about eggnog? Then check out this recipe for an eggnog white russian.
This pretty Christmas focaccia bread.
This is a fun Christmas Eve tradition to do with the kids.
Have a fantastic weekend!
