Nesting on this first day of June

Hello and goodbye May. It sure came and went. Honestly I think Maycember is crazier than the holidays. And we’re in the final countdown for the last day of school, 19 more days!

It’s been a month of celebrations, and we are ready to keep it going into June and welcome summer with open arms! (I am so ready for poolside hangs and pasta salad season!

And now that the nicer weather is here, I’ve made a promise to myself to get outside and get moving 4 days a week. I got myself a weighted vest to add a little more resistance to my walks, help with posture and burn more calories. And I also made a Hot Girl Walk Playlist for some motivation. Sharing it with you all too if your goal is to move more. Let’s do this!

What I’ve been watching and reading:

Sirens on Netflix. The story takes place at a lavish beach estate and kind of gives me The Perfect Couple vibes if you saw that too. Also Meghann Fahy is just an amazing actress.

The Better Sister on Prime – This is a thriller series with Jessica Biel and Elizabeth Banks. One of their husbands are murdered forcing these two estranged sisters together.

Beach House Rules by Kristy Woodson Harvey – I just started this one. The reviews say if you are a fan of Elin Hildebrand or Jennifer Weiner, then you will love this story of friendship and family. Charlotte’s husband is arrested by the FBI and she finds herself locked out of her house with her daughter. They go to stay at a friend’s Bed and Breakfast in a gossipy community of mostly single mothers in North Carolina.

I enjoyed Sirens too! It made me want to get back to either Martha’s Vineyard or Nantucket.
