2.) In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter, peanut butter, sugar, and egg until smooth.

6.) Top with sprinkles and add some more M&M’s on top.

7.) Bake in the oven for about 25 minutes. You want to remove it when the edges are golden and you can stick a butter knife or toothpick in and it comes out clean.

8.) Place on a cooling rack and allow to cool but not completely.

9.) Unwrap the Reese’s and chocolate hearts and press into the top of the cookie bars.

Valentine’s Popcorn

Valentine's Popcorn

I love making fun and festive treats with each holiday.  I made this Valentine’s Popcorn the other day and it is the perfect sweet and salty snack. Scroll down for my recipe.

Our family is popcorn obsessed!!! The boys love to add all different toppings and trying different flavor combinations. I added some melted white chocolate, conversation candy hearts and sprinkles to give it a Valentine’s flair. This Valentine’s Popcorn would also be really cute wrapped in little gift baggies and given as Valentine’s or for a Valentine’s party.

Valentine’s Popcorn

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Layer a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pour a bag of popped popcorn onto the baking sheet.
  3. Melt 1 cup of white chocolate chips. I usually will do this in the microwave in 30 second intervals, stopping to stir until completely melted.
  4. Using a spoon drizzle the melted chocolate over the popcorn.
  5. Top with sprinkles and conversation candy hearts.
  6. Let cool then break up and serve in a bowl.

My Favorite Valentine’s Day Ideas

Valentine's Day Paper Hearts

Valentine’s Day is almost a week away and I have teamed up with some of my favorite blogger mamas to share some of my favorite ideas for your Valentine’s Day celebration this year!

I have to admit, this is one holiday I never really got into but seeing all of these ideas has inspired me to get a little festive this year.  Usually the hubs and I would just have a nice dinner, with champagne and chocolates of course! But this year I’ve decided we’re going to celebrate all week long and I’m looking forward to doing some fun things with my little mini heartthrob too!

And be sure to check out my Valentine’s Day decor in my Etsy shop! Click this link <3

Check out these awesome ideas:

Teddy Graham Treats

I’ve been searching for something cute that I could make to hand out to some of Maxwell’s friends at daycare. I decided to make these cute little Valentine Teddy Grahams.

To make you will need:

  • Teddy grahams
  • Conversation hearts
  • Some frosting

So it’s super easy. I just took a dab of frosting, put it on the back of the conversation heart and placed it on the teddy graham. How adorable are they?

These Play-Doh Valentine’s are the perfect non-candy treat for your little ones. Check out my post to download the free printable.
