Nesting on this first Sunday in July.

Welcome to Nesting! If you are new here, it is a little round up I do with all of my favorite finds and things that have been happening on the blog. Grab a cup of coffee and come curl up!

Happy 4th of July weekend!

Oh my gosh June was a whirlwind and it has been a bit hasn’t it?

First and most exciting, on June 20th, I became an auntie to the sweetest little boy. I was there in the delivery room for his arrival and let me tell you, I have never been more proud of my sister! It’s amazing to see your siblings become parents and share in special milestones with them.

We took the boys down yesterday to go meet their cousin and it was the absolute cutest! So many fun times ahead for this little crew.

Also last month, my oldest graduated kindergarten and now he’s off to first grade in September!

And my baby turned 4 last week. In true Savvy Mavvy fashion he requested steak, lobster and clams. He sure knows how to live his best life.

We’re looking forward to a more slow paced July with lots of time poolside with family and friends.

Here’s what’s been on happening on the blog recently:

This past week, the ladies from the Cozy Creative Collaborative and I got together to share 4th of July ideas. I shared my recipe for this fireworks ice cream brownie sundae. Click here to see my recipe and all of their ideas.

With summer in full swing, I shared 12 of my Summer Must Haves on Amazon. I own almost every single one of these on this list.

12 Amazon must haves for summer - reusable water balloons, stanley water jug, turkish towel, womens sun hat, outdoor end table with built in cooler, food dome to protect food from bugs

A few weeks ago I shared that I tried a lavender latte at a coffee shop. I instantly knew I had to re-create one at home and now this has been the sweetest way to start my morning. Click here and I’ll show you how to make it.

Monday – Roasted Vegetable Pasta

It literally doesn’t get any easier than this. I throw whatever veggies we have on a sheetpan with a little olive oil, salt and pepper and roast. While the veggies are roasting, boil some water for pasta. Cook your pasta until al dente. Stir in your roasted veggies. Toss with some italian dressing and sprinkle in some cheese! Voila!

TuesdayPorkchops with pineapple salsa

WednesdayChicken salad wraps with apples and pecans

ThursdayCream of asparagus soup with grilled cheese
