Nesting

Nesting

Nesting on this first Sunday in November. And Happy Daylight Savings!

I hope you all got an extra hour of sleep or maybe some peace and quiet to yourselves before everyone else in the house woke up.

Nesting will now go out on Sundays. With both boys in hockey on Saturdays, we have to be out of the house bright and early and it’s just too crazy to try and get my stuff together. Plus I think this is a great way to set up your Sunday and beat those Sunday scaries!

Who still has Halloween candy laying around? I thought I hid it all but then I saw the littlest dude man munching on candy in his room. He had taken a stash and hid it in his little backpack, little smartie pants. But if you are looking to use up some of that candy how about making these cookie bars with your leftover Halloween candy? Click here for my recipe.

Leftover Halloween candy cookie bars

What a busy week it was! We went to a Notre Dame football game, had our Color Run for school and of course all the Halloween festivities. I finally cleaned my house this weekend though so get ready for little sprinkles of Christmas coming your way!

In other news, Starbucks holiday cups are here! What’s your favorite holiday beverage? If you like the Irish Cream Cold Brew, you have got to try my recipe to make your own at home.

It was another successful Wednesday link party featuring ideas for Thanksgiving including this blessing wreath from The Crowned Goat that was the most popular.

I released my Holiday Gift Guides! Sharing my favorite gift ideas for her, him and top toys for the kids. I’ll link them below:

Gift Guide for Her

Gift Guide for Him

Top Toys for Kids

Next week I’ve got a hostess gift idea and all sorts of charcuterie board inspiration coming your way. It’s gonna be good!!!

And now for some more joy from some of my friends on the web:

If you love pumpkin pie and cheesecake, how about this recipe from my friend Michele at Vintage Home Designs? It’s the best of both worlds.

These 14 cute outfits for fall.

You all know my love for gnomes. This is the cutest way to gift a bottle of wine for the holidays.

This orange cream brandy schnapps is perfect for sipping around your fall fire and roasting s’mores.

I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday!
