Easter basket ideas

Easter Basket Ideas

Pop its – These continue to be all the rage! And I just love the cute bunny one.

Squishy Easter bunny with water beads – I used to love squishy things like this when I was little and these are so addicting to play with.

Playdough kits – the cutest playdough kit from my girl at PaytonParkePlaydough

Easter glasses – these are made by my friend Christine. Her shop is currently closed while she’s on vacation but will be back open March 31st!

Egg sidewalk chalk – it’s easy for little ones to grab too

Easter bath bombs – my kids love bath bombs and these have sweet little Easter surprises inside.

Peep soaps – I’ve never seen soap so cute

Paint by sticker easter kids book – I got this for my boys. Mess free!

Squishmallow – this is great for babies for toddlers.

Carrot sorting game – how cute is this sorting game? Perfect for ages 1-3

Bunny Gloss – the cutest bunny lip gloss.

Bunny Earrings – I think this would be a cute idea if you’re wondering what to get pre-teens or teens.

Creator Easter bunny – perfect for kids ages 6+ and those who love legos

Bunny Purse – this is the cutest purse

Easter pajamas – it wouldn’t be a holiday without cute jammies.

Sunglasses – these are flexible, polarized and come in a variety of colors.

Baseball hats – perfect for spring

Native shoes – these are the best shoes for little kids! We’ve been getting them for a few years. They come in so many colors too!

20 In Easter/ food

This is the most addicting snack and Bunny Bait you will ever try! I recently had a craving for something sweet and whipped this up. The kids came home and their eyes immediately went to the rainbow filled jar. I have a feeling we will be making more!

Bunny Bait

Ingredients:

1 box of Annie’s bunny grahams
mini marshmallows
M&M’s (I used the Easter pastels)
Coconut flavored almonds
Nerd Clusters (my sister got me hooked on these and omg these are sooo freaking good. Linked here)
pretzels

Directions:

In a glass canister or large bowl, combine all ingredients.
Mix together.
Keep covered and enjoy!

DIY gorgeous floral Easter Eggs

DIY gorgeous floral decoupage Easter eggs

Easter is a little less than 2 weeks away and it’s time to break out the Easter Eggs! This year I decided to do something a little different with our eggs, giving it a more upscale feel. Using faux flowers from The Dollar Store and spring themed napkins, I’m going to show you how to easily make these DIY gorgeous floral Easter eggs.

You will need:

Eggs (You can use real eggs or wooden craft eggs I got from Amazon.)
Faux flowers (I got a couple stems from The Dollar Store)
Paper napkins (choose some fun spring ones)
Scissors
Glue or Modge Podge
Hot glue gun
Small paint brush

Directions:

Step 1: I chose to keep my eggs the natural white but if you wanted them to be colored you could paint them or dye them.

Step 2: Open your napkin all the way so it is a single layer. Using your scissors, cut out the pieces that you want to use to put on your egg, trimming as close to the object as possible.

Step 3: Take your flowers and clip the flowers off the stem, clipping as close as you can to the base of the flower.

Step 4: Using some glue and your paint brush, dab some glue on the egg where you want your napkin pieces to go and press the napkin pieces firmly onto the egg. There may be some slight creasing, so try to smooth it out as you go. If any of the edges start to come up, you can also dab some clear glue or modge podge over the top.

Step 5: I found that a hot glue gun worked best for the flowers. Put some hot glue on the backside of your flower and press onto your egg.

That’s it!!! I love how intricate and gorgeous these look! And if you use the wooden eggs, you can enjoy them for many more years to come.

Easter is a little less than 3 weeks away and it’s time to start shopping for your little’s Easter baskets. If you’re anything like me, you’re probably looking for some non-candy Easter basket ideas. (Let’s be honest, the last thing a mama wants are her kids all hopped up on sugar and candy).
