Happy Sunday! If you are new here this is a post I try to do weekly or bi-weekly as a recap of what I’ve shared recently on the blog, everything I’ve been watching, reading, latest Amazon finds and more of what’s trending.

We’re 19 days into what feels like the longest month of the year and I’m already slipping into my winter funk. And we’re supposed to be getting more snow this weekend. So if you need me, I’ll be curled up in bed or on the couch with blanket and a book.  I stumbled upon this quote and I had to share it because it reminded me that winter is a time when we should be slowing down and resting.

Did anyone try logging in to Tik Tok this morning? They really done did it.  I’m not gonna lie, I am going to miss it. I found so many great recipes over there, book and show recommendations and even got to stream the grainy live streams from The Era’s tour.   I’m hoping it will come back eventually but if you’re not already following me on Instagram, make sure you come on over there!!!

Amazon Finds

I found this bathing suit when I was scrolling looking for our upcoming vacation. It’s super flattering and was your best seller this week.

Retinol body lotion – I don’t know why I’ve been sleeping on retinol body lotion. I’ve been using it on my face for years, but just started using it on my whole body and already in 1 week my skin looks and feels better. This is my combo I’m using this winter. I use the Eos in the morning, it smells soooo amazing and then the retinol at night.

Fisherman aesthetic – Pinterest Predicts claims that is the trend of 2025. Think cuffed jeans, breton striped tops, cableknit and super cute fishy accessories. Here are some fisherman aesthetic finds I found on Amazon.

 

What I’m watching:

The Curious Case of Natalia Grace The Final Chapter. I have been so captivated by this whole case for over a year. Natalia Grace is the orphan from Ukraine who was adopted and her original adoptive parents claimed she was older than she actually was. This is the final part of the case and I was so surprised to learn that the new family she is living with, The DePaul’s are actually local residents of Clifton Park! You can watch the whole series on Max or Hulu.

The Traitors – if you love reality tv, this is game show you will probably enjoy. This season features cast members from The Real Housewives, Vanderpump Rules, Big Brother as well as Britney Spears ex husband and more. You can watch it on Peacock.

What I’m reading:

Beautiful Ugly by Alice Feeney – I just finished this new release from Alice Feeney.  This is a good psyhcological thriller that I found myself up all night flipping through the pages because I just had to see what was going to happen next. While I didn’t truly love any of the characters, I did love the giant twist at the end!

Next up…

Be Ready When The Luck Happens by Ina Garten. I am craving cozy and I can’t think of a cozier non-fiction read than Ina’s memoir.  I have heard that audible is the way to go with this one, as it is narrated by Ina herself. Click here to get your free Audible Plus Trial.
