Nesting on this November Sunday
Wooo it’s been a bit hasn’t it? If you are new here, this is a little round up I try to do weekly or biweekly of what’s been happening around here at our Nest, what I’ve been watching, reading, eating, Amazon find sand more randomness.
A few weeks ago we went up to Tiashoke Farm up in Schaghticoke and got to snuggle their adorable highland cows. So if anyone wants to know what to get me for Christmas, it’s her.

Currently my house is in total chaos. We’ve started taking out the Christmas decor. But we are also in the middle of demoing our final room in the house, our main bathroom. I can not wait until it’s done.
But until then, I’m just putting off all the laundry, cleaning and have to’s.
If you’ve never been to puppy yoga, I highly recommend you go. Instant dopamine and oxytocin and all the feel good hormones.

Here’s what I’ve shared recently from Our Nest:
This dip board is perfect for football Sunday and will wow all your friends. I got all of the dips from Aldi and it was super easy to throw together. Click here to see how I put it together.
Have you ever head of chaider? I don’t know if it’s a legit thing or if I kind of made it up. It’s basically a drink mixture of warm chai and apple cider. It’s soooo good. I like to add a little apple pie moonshine or fireball to really make it fun. You can click here for my recipe.
These Thanksgiving printables are perfect for the kids table. Click here to download them.
Aren’t these little turkey cream pies adorable? This is a fun and easy snack for the kids (or adults too), using one of my childhood favorite snacks. Click here to see how I made them.

These pumpkin pie espresso martinis will be the drink of Thanksgiving. So easy to make, and so good too. Click here for my recipe.
One reader Maria said “Well, this looks utterly delicious, and such a great twist on your typical holiday drink. By the way, I am making your apple pear sangria (already made it once) for Thanksgiving. It is such a wonderful recipe.”
(I’ll share my popular apple pear sangria recipe here.)
What I’ve been watching and reading
If you haven’t seen Queen Martha’s documentary “Martha” on Netflix, I highly suggest you watch it. I’ve been a fan of Martha long before Rick and I were guests on her show “Martha Knows Best”. (If you’ve been here long enough you know). This film gives you a little background knowledge of how she grew up, rose to fame, her obstacles and how she’s overcome them.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is back! I watched the first episode this week and I can’t wait for this season.
And then for all you true crime buffs, there’s a new documentary out on Netflix tomorrow about the Jon Benet Ramsey case. This is the case that started my love for true crime back when I was little I remember seeing her face all over the magazines at the grocery store.

Currently on my Kindle …I’m about to start this thriller which was a Reese’s book club pick.
You can see more of my book suggestions here.

This turkey handprint pie is the cutest way to add a special touch to your Thanksgiving pumpkin pie

This is basically what my morning routine would be like if I adopted a sweet highland cow.
Are you loving the bow trend like I am for Christmas? Stephanie from Mama Jots shows you how to make your own bow garland. I’ll link her DIY here.

Hope you all enjoy the rest of your sweet Sunday. And wishing you all a very Happy Thanksgiving.
