Nesting on this sunny Sunday in July.
Mav had his tonsils and adenoids out on Monday so this week I was consumed with keeping him comfortable, making snow cones, and obviously bringing you the best of Amazon Prime Day Deals.
Just a little PSA for all of who got a Tineco – do not sleep on cleaning it and emptying it right after using. Trust me. ๐
Ok I realize I may sound like a grump but I can not stand the Christmas in July stuff and can everyone pump the breaks on fall?
I am savoring summer. Granted it has been super humid lately. But summer is not over until we go on our beach vacation in August. Then you can all start with your pumpkin spice.
And while we’re talking about summer, do you guys remember last summer was the Tomato Girl Summer Aesthetic? And obviously the Coastal Grandmother aesthetic is timeless and never goes out of style. Which one are you having?
Recipes you may have missed lately:
It’s zucchini season! These are 4 of my favorite recipes using zucchini.
This Tortellini Caprese Salad is soooo good!!!
This lemony tuna pasta salad is packed with protein, greens, and an easy light and zesty dressing.
Amazon Finds
These were your top sellers from Prime Day!
Can we talk about these pajamas? I was having a rough day and threw these on and I felt so bougie. Instant mood booster. Linking them here.

What I’m watching & reading
As a fellow cheerleader, I started watching America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders on Netflix. Those women are so talented! I may or may not have been practicing Thunderstruck on my own as if I was trying out.
I also started re-watching the old episodes of Beverly Hills 90210. My sisters and I used to love watching this together over summer vacation and the Peach Pit just brought me back. You can stream them on Paramount Plus.
Swan Song by Elin Hilderbrand – This is the latest and last one from the Queen of the Beach Reads. (For more beach reads see them all here)
My favorite things this week that I discovered on the interweb
This baked brie with peaches and walnuts looks amazing doesn’t it?

These staycation ideas for when you want to travel but it’s not in the budget.
Have you ever tried a glass of rose with jalapenos? How about red wine and diet coke? I tried both this week and omg!
Hope you all enjoy the rest of your Sunday!

I love the sound of the Coastal Grandmother aesthetic although not the white clothing, I don’t do well in whites as I seem to attract dirt. lol
Those pyjamas are so cute!

July 25, 2024 at 2:00 pmHa ha! I think people with humid weather like me all about summer being over: summer means mosquitoes, humidity and it being too hot to enjoy the outside.

July 30, 2024 at 9:21 amHow cute are you in those pjs, Nicolle. They look so comfortable! I hope your little is on the mend soon. Snowcones sound like the perfect way to heal. You are totally giving me the giggles about Christmas in July. It’s one of my favorite weeks of the entire year. Mostly because by the time we get to July we’re in the 100s and feel like wet blankets the minute we walk outside due to the crazy humidity so we need something to look forward to. Thanks so much for all the zucchini recipes. I never know what to do with them and these recipes look delicious. Thank you for including my peach and brie recipe too. I really appreciate it. It’s so easy! Big hugs, CoCo
