Nesting on CInco De Mayo - tacos, margaritas on bar

Nesting on this first Sunday in May and rainy Cinco De Mayo.

We are going out tonight to try a new taco place that just opened near us and I am so excited! A big basket of nachos and margaritas is just pure happiness isn’t it?

The past few weeks have been a little crazy between spring sports, end of the year activities, yard work and baby showers. I’ve been to three baby showers in the past 4 weeks! Yesterday I went to one for my cousin and I just have to show you the sweet gift my mom and sister put together.

Baby shower gift - DIY wardrobe with baby clothes from newborn up to 24 months.

And from babies, they grow so fast. Somehow we have kindergarten screening for my little guy tomorrow and I am not ok. I can’t believe he is going to kindergarten! I feel like we just brought him home!

It was a great week on the blog. We talked about:

The top Amazon purchases of April. I own every single one of these and love, love love.  Click here to see them all. Seriously that romper is so freaking comfortable and the instant awake under eye brightener is a must! I’m never wearing concealer again.

Mother’s Day is next weekend and I have some cute Mother’s Day printables for the kids. They can show mom what they love about her, there’s free coupons for a day off of cooking and cleaning, and a printable Mother’s Day Brunch menu. Click here to see them all.

On this week’s Wednesday Salad, I shared this Caesar pasta salad recipe with the easiest and most delish homemade Casear dressing. I don’t know about you all, but Rick is not a huge salad lover and he asked me the next day when I’m making it again so I call that a win! Here is my recipe.

The best Caesar pasta salad - glass bowl filled with romaine lettuce, pasta, croutons, homemade Caesar dressing and shredded Parmesan cheese.

If you’re looking for a gift for the teacher for the end of the school year, I shared this little gift basket I put together last year with my free printable. Click here to see it.

Basket with wine bottle, wine chiller, wine tote, best teacher ever book and an apple with tag that says "apples are fine but by June you deserve some wine"

And since it’s Cinco De Mayo, here are some recipes for your fiesta today:

Have you heard all about the Black and White SUV moms? This was a big topic in my Instagram stories last week. I drive a white SUV yet I find myself identifying more as a black SUV mom. Maybe I’m gray? See what you are here.
