If you are team gingerbread and love a good espresso martini, this gingerbread espresso martini will be your new favorite winter cocktail.

I think we can all agree that one of the best things about the holidays is all the festive treats and libations am I right?

And one of my favorite holiday flavors is gingerbread!

I love all the gingerbread things – coffee, waffles, muffins, cookies, you name it!

A few weeks ago, I made this delicious gingerbread syrup. And then I got the idea, since I loved it in my coffee, why not put it in an espresso martini?

The result, it was delish!!!! You will definitely want to serve up these gingerbread espresso martinis for your holiday gatherings! Sharing my recipe below.

Gingerbread Espresso Martini

Gingerbread espresso martini - couple glass with crushed gingerbread on rim filled with espresso martini in front of Christmas tree

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Espresso
  • 4 pumps Gingerbread syrup (linking the recipe here)
  • 2 shots Vodka
  • Half and Half (to taste)
  • Maple syrup (for garnish)
  • Crushed gingerbread (for garnish)

Ingredients for gingerbread espresso martini - espresso, vodka, gingerbread syrup, half and half.

Directions:

1.) Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.

2.) Fill the cocktail shaker with espresso, vodka and a few pumps of gingerbread syrup.

3.) Add a few splashes of half and half (depending on how light you want it)

4.) Shake well.

5.) On a plate, pour some maple syrup and crushed gingerbread cookies.

6.) Roll the rim of the glass into the maple syrup and then into the crushed gingerbread cookies.

7.) Pour the cocktail into the glass.

8.) Top with a gingerbread cookie.

The best gingerbread espresso martini

Homemade gingerbread syrup, espresso and vodka come together for the best gingerbread espresso martini you will drink this holiday season!
Course Drinks
Servings 2 glasses

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup espresso
  • 4 pumps homemade gingerbread syrup
  • 2 shots vodka
  • half & half to taste
  • maple syrup for garnish
  • crushed gingerbread cookies for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  • Fill the cocktail shaker with espresso, vodka and a few pumps of gingerbread syrup.
