Welcome to this week’s Nesting.
If you are new here, this is a recap of everything that’s been happening lately on the blog, my recent finds, what I’m watching, reading, and other random things.
Christmas is 15 days away.
For once I am ahead of the game and have all my shopping done, minus some stocking stuffers. The rest of the Christmas cards are going out tomorrow. This is like a record for me, usually I’m procrastination station.
Although, next week we go to breakfast with Santa. I’m sure there will be some surprise requests if you know what I mean.
It’s been a busy week on the blog.
I shared my recipe for this Buddy the Elf Snack Mix.

This week I teamed up with some talented blogging friends and we all shared some free winter printables. If you missed it, check out my Christmas light scavenger hunt, Letter to Santa template and Christmas bucket list.
Plus there’s Christmas gift tags, ornament ideas, a 2024 planner and more. Click here to see them all.

If the Elf comes to your home and you’re looking for a fun Elf on the Shelf Idea to keep the magic going, I’m showing you how to re-create this one here. The kids were in awe.
It’s not the holiday season without my homemade Irish Cream. This has been a popular recipe for the past few years. I shared my recipe again and included some cute free printable gift tags if you are a blog subscriber. Click here for the recipe and gift tags.
What I’m watching & reading.
Ok I have been watching The Holiday on repeat and I am of the opinion that you are either a girl who loves The Rosehill Cottage or you love Amanda’s palatial Cali home. Which one are you?

Here’s a closer look inside the Rosehill Cottage.

One of you know my love for true crime and that kind of stuff and recommended Love Has Won on HBO Max and omg I went down a rabbit hole.
I’m in the mood for a book that gives like Hallmark Christmas vibes. Here are a few that are on my To Be Read pile.
Meet Me on Christmas Eve by Alana Highbury
The Christmas Dress by Courtney Cole
A Christmas To Remember by Jenny Hale
and because you know I love a good murder/crime book
Christmas Murder in Hyannis by Andrea Kress
Other favorite things I found this week.
Pantone’s Color of the Year for 2024 is Peach Fuzz. See it here.
If you are a wine lover you need this.
This looks like the ultimate comfort meal doesn’t it?

If you’re looking for a little getaway to break up the winter months and give you something to look forward to, here are a few that are driving distance from NYC. Click here.
Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend!
Stay tuned for this upcoming week where I’m sharing Christmas traditions and a new winter cocktail!
