This is Buddy the Elf’s Christmas Snack Mix. It’s filled with the flavors of maple syrup crunchies, marshmallows, candy canes from the candy cane forest and chocolate candy M&Ms’s.

Anyone who has watched Elf or has an affinity for elf culture knows that syrup and candy make up a majority of an elf’s diet.  And this holiday snack mix has it all! It’s the perfect little snack to munch on while having a Christmas movie marathon or gift to friends in little mason jars.

What is in Buddy the Elf’s Christmas snack mix?

  • Maple syrup flavored goldfish crackers (these are a special edition you can only find for the holidays and it will fill your snack mix with the aroma of Buddy’s favorite maple syrup!)
  • Pretzels covered in white chocolate and crushed candy canes from the candy cane forest
  • M&M’s because candy, duh!
  • Chow mein noodles just like Buddy’s famous spaghetti.
  • Marshmallows
  • Candied nuts

Here is Buddy the Elf’s Christmas Snack Mix

Ingredients:

  • 1 package Elf edition maple syrup flavored goldfish crackers (linking them on Amazon here)
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 1/2 cups pretzels
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips (I like to use Ghiradelli melting wafers).
  • 2 candy canes, crushed
  • 1 cup honey roasted almonds
  • 1 bag red and green M&Ms
  • 1 cup Chow mein noodles

Directions:

1.) Line a baking sheet with some parchment paper and lay out the pretzels.

2.) In the microwave melt the white chocolate chips.

3.) Using a spoon or fork, drizzle the white chocolate over the pretzels.

4.) Sprinkle the crushed candy canes on top of the white chocolate pretzels immediately while the chocolate is still warm then allow to cool.

5.) In a large bowl, mix together crackers, marshmallows, M&Ms, chow mein noodles and almonds.

6.) Once the white chocolate covered pretzels are cooled, break apart.

7.) Add the pretzels to the bowl with other ingredients and mix together.

8.) Pour into a glass canister with a lid or in a mason jar.

Enjoy!
