Back to School Snack Mix - glass cannister filled with alphabet cookies, cheezits, marshmallows and m&ms

This Back To School Snack Mix is perfect for lunchboxes or as an after school snack. I like to keep it in a large glass canister right on the table with a spoon so the kid’s can help themselves. Plus, it looks really cute too! Scroll down for my Back to School Snack Mix recipe.

Back To School Snack Mix

School is back in swing for most of us, or about to begin. With that comes routine, packing lunches, homework and all the snacks of course. I love to have this Back To School Snack Mix on hand to pack in lunches or have available for the kids to munch after school.  You can add anything you like but these alphabet cookies, cheez-its, mini marshmallows and M&M’s is my award winning combo!

Ingredients:

  • Alphabet cookies
  • Cheez-its
  • Mini marshmallows
  • M&M’s

(popcorn, raisins cheerios and pretzel’s also make for a great combo)

Directions:

1.) In a large bowl or cannister combine all ingredients.

2.) Stir well.

3.) Store in a glass cannister or in an air tight container.

Enjoy!!!

    This looks like such a fun way to kick off the back-to-school season, Nicolle. I might have to leave mine in the pantry though because if I left it out it would be so tempting to snack all day. Thanks for this quick and easy idea. The littles will love it! Hugs, CoCo

    I regularly do that mix my favourite snack in a jar in the kitchen, they don’t tend to last long though.
