Nesting

Welcome to Nesting, where I share what’s been happening on the blog, and share some of my favorite things from the week! So grab a cup of coffee or whatever warm bevvy you prefer and curl up!
If I’m being honest, these last 2 weeks have been a blur. I am grateful for a free weekend with some time to collect my thoughts and be inspired. Because Easter is 2 weeks away and I’ve got a few more cute ideas up my sleeve!
My sister and brother in law came home last weekend. It was so good to see them and my sister’s growing bump. We are in full baby shower planning mode and I can’t wait to show you the details!
I recently gave our bedroom a little spring refresh and it was just what my soul needed. Nothing feels as good as fresh, clean sheets am I right? I got these blue and white sheets from Target and I just love the palette for spring. I’m linking them here.
We also did a little updating in our living room. We desperately needed a new couch as ours had seen better days between a dog and 2 boys. We also added a few battery operated sconces (linking them here) and I am obsessed with how it transforms the room and I love the soft glow it adds in the early morning or evenings. They were easy to install too. Well Rick did it but it looked pretty easy 🙂
Earlier this month, I announced that a few friends and I are going to be getting together every month to share some inspiration for your home. This month’s theme was Easter and I shared how to make this adorable Easter door basket with these DIY faux carrots.

Some of my favorite finds from the past few weeks:
These jeans are my holy grail! The perfect amount of support and stretch!
This new ultra hydrating serum has been a game changer for my skin. I use day and night! Use my code Ourtinynest at checkout to save on your Tula purchase!

Here is this week’s meal plan:

Tuesday – Walking tacos

Thursday – Cream of asparagus soup and tuna melts
Friday – Pizza night
Saturday – out
Sunday – Spring lasagna primavera
Now here are some of my favorite things I found on the web this week:
My friend Jen from Cottage on Bunker Hill shows you how to make your own edible arrangement. This is perfect for the Easter or Mother’s Day table!
There’s talks Netflix is making one of my favorite books into a movie and I couldn’t have picked a better cast. Click here to see.
The lazy lawn trend for this year. It’s low maintenance, better for the environment and honestly I think this is something Rick can get behind too 🙂
I have always been very open about my struggles with anxiety and the past few weeks have been hard. Sharing this worksheet I found to help talk yourself out of intrusive thought patterns. I hope it’s helpful to those of you <3
I hope you enjoy the rest of your Sunday!
