I am just not ready to let fall go yet, are you? So when my friend Kristy asked me if I wanted to join together for one last fall themed blog hop of course I said “yes!” For those of you who are coming over from Kristy’s blog, welcome! And I hope you decide to stick around for awhile and follow me over on the gram @ourtiny_nest!
Ok so today I’ve got an easy Halloween DIY. Seriously, super easy and if you’re looking for a last minute idea, this is it. I’m showing you how I made these easy DIY ghost lanterns. These are perfect for lining your stairs to add a little festive touch. I surprised the kids when they came home from hockey the other night and when they walked in they just loved it! I got all of the things at my local Dollar store but you could get just about anywhere! Scroll down to see how to make these easy DIY ghost lanterns.
You will need:
- white kraft paper bags
- battery operate tea lights
- black marker or crayon
Start with your kraft paper bags. Mine had handles so I just cut the handles off using scissors. With a black marker or crayon, draw on each bag a pair of eyes and a nose.
Next you will get the tea lights and put inside each bag.
Then just line your stairs or place them where ever you would like. These would also look good on a mantle!
Can you spot my little furry assistant?
