Nesting - tips for peonies

Nesting on this beautiful Saturday morning in June.

I’m off to a baby shower this morning for a very special family friend.

I’m wearing this dress I just got from Target which seemed to be everyone’s favorite on my Instagram. If you missed it, click here to see what I got. All dresses are currently 20% off at Target now.  So basically you can just call me Meryl because I’ll be channeling my inner Coastal Grandmother. If you don’t know what I’m talking about click here to see what I mean.

Also, can we talk about peony season for a minute? I know that’s one of the things we all share in common in this space, our love for peonies. I wish their beauty would last longer. One of my tips is to cut them when they are a marshmallowy bud, wrap in damp paper towel and store in the refrigerator.  Click here to check out my other tips for peonies if you missed it.

I made the most delicious summer burrata board the other day and I can’t stop thinking about it. I also made it into a salad too and so that’s what I’m basically eating every day for lunch.

Father’s Day is officially 1 week away! Did you see my Father’s Day gift guide? Be sure to check out some of my gift ideas since men are infamous of being hard to shop for 😉

And now for this week’s inspiration

If you’re also all about the coastal vibe, you have to check out Jennifer from Cottage at Bunker Hill. I’m obsessed with this  DIY for this beautiful sea glass beaded garland she made.

These easy rainbow dessert cups are so adorable for summer! Perfect for kids and adults!

Tis the season for graduation parties! And this is a cute DIY graduation gift idea!

And stay tuned next week. Coming up I have patriotic door decor and a cute idea for all of your kid’s artwork at the end of the year.
