Every week I open up my Instagram stories to an “Ask Me Anything” segment where followers can ask me literally anything. I’ve compiled a list of the most asked home questions I get through DM’s and stories figured I’d share here!
Your Most Asked Home Questions
What are the paint colors in your house?
Our main floor, entry way, living room, dining room, kitchen is Sherwin Williams Alabaster White.
Our bedroom is Sherwin Williams Repose Gray.
The boys room is Sherwin Williams Passive Gray because it picks up those blue notes.
Where is your entertainment center from?
It is from Ashley Home Store (linking it here, FYI currently out of stock but should be back in stock soon). I knew I wanted a large piece and I loved the character and charm that the barn doors and open shelving adds. I added the wreaths to give it a little more of my own touch. You can head to this post to see my tips on how to decorate your shelves or built ins.
Where is your living room rug from?
It is from Ruggable. The print is the Hendesi Heriz Abalone. Linking it here.
Where are your dining room table and chairs from?
Our table was actually made by a local maker in Glens Falls called Square Nail Rustics. (Linking to their Instagram here)
The chairs are Poly & Bark and I got them on Amazon. They are great with kids and soooo easy to clean! (The Poly & Bark chairs are currently unavailable so I linked one’s that are very similiar here!)
How did you paint your fireplace?
It is whitewashed – white paint, mixed with water! The very first DIY that spurred our passion for DIYs.
How did you make the large photos of your kids?
This was like the easiest DIY even if you’re not the DIY type! All you need is your phone, a blank wall, and some frames. Showing you how I did it all here!
What is that fake ice the boy’s can skate on?
It’s a synthetic ice my parents got them for Christmas. It’s been great for them to practice on! We have it right in our garage.
