I love receiving Christmas cards from all of our friends and family. I made this DIY Christmas card display as a way to hang all of our holiday cards so that we can enjoy them through the season. It also makes a great photo display as well. Scroll down to see how to make this DIY Christmas card or photo display.
DIY Christmas card or photo display
This is super easy and neutral so you can leave up all year long! We don’t have many photos displayed throughout our home so I think I’m going to print some and leave it up in our living room. I also think this would be beautiful in a nursery.
To make this DIY Christmas card or photo display
You will need:
- a large branch
- faux eucalyptus stems or a long eucalyptus garland (I used this one from Target).
- wire cutters
- clothespins (I got these ones on Amazon)
1.) Start by cutting two pieces of twine, making them the same length.
2.) Tie each piece of twine one to each end of the branch. Bring up each piece so that you make a triangle and tie at the top. This will be how you hang the branch.
3.) Next you will assemble your greenery. If using a garland, cut into 3 separate pieces. If using faux eucalyptus stems, tie a few stems together to make a longer strand of eucalyptus. You will need 3.
4.) Take a piece of twine and tie to the end of the eucalyptus strand. Tie the other end of the twine to the branch so that it dangles down. Do this with the other two stands.
5.) Use clothespins to hang your cards or photos.
That’s it! Now you can enjoy looking at all of your holiday cards all season. And when the holidays are over, use to hang some photos throughout your home!
