Nesting whitewashed brick exterior limestone

Random thoughts on a sunny September Saturday morning.

The kids finished their first week in their new classrooms. Somehow, this time next year I will have a kindegartener. I hope all of your kids and you parents are adjusting. I have loved seeing everyone’s back to school photos. It is my absolute favorite. It’s crazy how fast these kids grow.

This week I shared a new recipe for my Pumpkin Spice Snack Mix. It’s a great after school snack or if you’re just craving something sweet and salty.

Another great back to school snack or healthy dessert idea are my Banana Split Apple Nachos.

Speaking of apples, I think we’re going to go apple picking this weekend. It’s my absolute favorite thing to do in fall.

This weekend is 1 year that we whitewashed our exterior brick and it is still one of my favorite projects to date!

Rick used Sherwin Williams white exterior paint and mixed 1 part paint with 2 parts water to give it the whitewashed look. It’s held up well! This spring we’re looking forward to re-doing our driveway and front porch.

I hope you all have a beautiful weekend!
