Nesting

Some random thoughts bright and early on this Saturday morning-

1.) I finished Virgin River this week, cue the tears. Also I just started White Lotus on HBO Max. The first few episodes were a little weird but then it gets good! (Can you tell I needed a break from true crime?) What are you watching lately?

2.) Check out this Back to School Basket that I put together for the kids this week.

3.) The Jennifer Anniston-David Schwimmer dating rumors this week were just cruel. #lobstersforlife

4.) Yesterday was National Prosecco Day. If you remember, one of the things on my Summer Bucket list was to try an Aperol Spritz. I created a little spin on the traditional take and am showing you how to create it over in my Instagram.

5.) Speaking of summer bucket lists, I’ve been checking the books off on my Summer Reading List. I just finished “The Last Thing He Told Me” (I give it 3/5 stars-the ending was less than desirable in my opinion). I’m about to start a new one by Colleen Hoover.

6.) From today through August 16th only, get 20% off your Tula purchase and a free full size mystery gift when you use my code Ourtinynest. (The cult classic cleanser and the face filter primer are two of my tried and true favorites!)

My favorite finds of this week:

One of my favorite crafters/DIYer’s to follow on Instagram is Jenn @motherthyme. Check out this corn husk wreath she made out of a hula skirt from the Dollar Store.

How perfect are these for making fun cut outs of fruits, veggie, cheese, etc. for your kids lunches?

Thank you so much for sharing my zinnias post! I am harvesting the seed heads today that have dropped their leaves already. I think the heat this summer may shorten their growing season here. Still beautiful, but definitely showing signs of slowing down. Love so many things on your post today, friend!
