Halloween is one of our favorite times of year! This year, we are keeping the festivities going with some fun new ideas and I still plan on eating REESE’s peanut butter cups all October long. One of the things we plan to do this year is “Boo’ing” our friends and neighbors. This is a fun and easy activity that will surely become a tradition.
Little unsuspected surprises have become even sweeter these days. I love this idea of surprising your friends and neighbors. Basically, the idea is you leave a little bag or bucket of Halloween treats on their doorstep and encourage them to do the same to some of their friends. Walmart makes it easy to get all of your supplies in one place!
Below, I’m sharing how to create your own “Boo” buckets to “Boo” all of your friends and help spread the tricks and treats.
You will need:
- Candy
- Buckets
- Paper (for your “Boo” tags – you can download below using my free printable)
- Ribbon
Directions:
1.) Stock up on all of your favorite candies to fill your “Boo” buckets at Walmart. You can also find the buckets in the party section.
2.) I made these “Boo” tags and instruction sheets to include in the buckets. Click here to download my Boo tag printable. Just cut and put in your buckets!
3.) Add a little ribbon to the handle to tie it all together.
4.) Choose which friends or neighbors you want to “Boo” and leave some treats on their doorstep.
