Valentine’s Day is almost a week away and I have teamed up with some of my favorite blogger mamas to share some of my favorite ideas for your Valentine’s Day celebration this year!
I have to admit, this is one holiday I never really got into but seeing all of these ideas has inspired me to get a little festive this year. Usually the hubs and I would just have a nice dinner, with champagne and chocolates of course! But this year I’ve decided we’re going to celebrate all week long and I’m looking forward to doing some fun things with my little mini heartthrob too!
Check out these awesome ideas:
Teddy Graham Treats
I’ve been searching for something cute that I could make to hand out to some of Maxwell’s friends at daycare. I decided to make these cute little Valentine Teddy Grahams.
To make you will need:
So it’s super easy. I just took a dab of frosting, put it on the back of the conversation heart and placed it on the teddy graham. How adorable are they?
Play-Doh Valentine’s Day Treats
Make these strawberry cheesecake sweetheart truffles from Dana at Mama Needs Cake. They look almost too pretty to eat! Put some in a cute box with a bow and you’ve got yourself a nice homemade Valentine’s treat to gift your loved ones.
I love love love these printables from my favorite Babbling Blondes Lindsay and Carley! Make them for your kid’s teachers, friends, your coworkers, or anyone else you want to share some love to! Check out their collection.
Throw a donut party for the kids like Sarah from Sugar Maple Notes. It’s such a sweet way to kick off your morning!
Non-Candy Valentine’s Treats
If you’re looking for something different for your kids to bring to their classroom party then check out these lip balm favors from Dena at Sunshine and Rollercoasters. They are the balm! (haha sorry I had to)
Homemade Bath Bombs
These are super cute to give to your Gal Pals! I am obsessed with these homemade bath bombs from Ashley Solberg. They’re fun and safe for bathtime with the kiddos or a nice bath with your main squeeze 😉
Since becoming a mama I truly have learned to appreciate how important your girlfriends are! I absolutely adore this idea from JeeYoung at Simply Every Blog. Make a little Valentine Box for your Soul Sisters.
And last but certainly not least, make your Valentine’s Day complete with your own waffle bar! Check out this delicious spread from The Okayest Moms!
