Spring is in the air, I can feel it! And with these warmer temps its got me craving all things fresh and spring flavors. Bowl recipes are all the rage right now (smoothie bowls, burritto bowls, Buddha bowls). So I’ve created this fresh power packed Spring Nourish Bowl.
So what exactly is a nourish bowl? It’s a big bowl of all stuff that is healthy and good for you, made with fresh ingredients, packed with flavor and color and super quick to assemble. I always make an honest effort to eat healthy, (except on the weekends, that’s where I cheat – balance people!) And I usually turn to my trusty old go-to salad. Well after about 3 days, I’m bored with it and fall off the wagon. So here is a fun way to keep myself eating good and mix it up a bit!
1.) Start with a leafy base and some veggies
2.) Add some protein
3.) Sprinkle in some grain
4.) Top off with some healthy fats, a little extra crunch or some fruit
The combinations are endless!
